Some 40 million tons of reusable plastic cutlery get thrown away every year, most of them after a single use. This plastic can take up to 1,000 years to break down in the environment. Meanwhile, they often collect in the oceans, adding to an already long list of environmental concerns we face today. Bakeys, an edible cutlery manufacturer based in India, might have a promising solution. The company launching the world's first edible cutlery line. Yes — that's a spoon that you can eat. Action and Reaction: What SPARKs your interest about this new product?
21st Century Skills: Did you notice examples of any of the 6Cs in the video clip? Connections: Would YOU be a customer for edible cutlery? What would interest you? What would make you cautious or concerned?

What "Sparks" my interest is how the 40 million tons of cutlery gets thrown away after a single use. I would gladly buy some of the edible cutlery to save 1,000 years of decomposing plastic spoons. Yes, I did actually see one of the six c's witch is communication because the woman talking to the people in india, it must have been extremely hard to talk to all the people because india has 160 languages

What sparks my interest is that someone could invent such stuff and i would love to be able to change the world like that.I think that they used communication by taking to people about there product and i also think they used creative innovation because who can come up with such a cool spoon.I would defiantly be a customer my concerns are that if i would like it because a lot of stuff they used i had never tried before but i thought that i could change the world if i tried and if other people tried too. : ]

This product intrests me because,I've NEVER seen anything like this before. Its very interesting.I think they must have used creative innavation to come up with such an abnormal idea.I would be a costumer but im conserend for my fellow people, like what if their allergic to an engrident and don't know it.Also yow many per package, this is an awesome idea but how will we keep buying them if where out.A simple solution is to get rid of plastic spoons by getting a document and all people who wan't to change the world sigh it!

This spoon is better than a plastic spoon which gives canceler. You can eat the spoon because its made out of grains. This is a better way how to eat food. It is also made in other forms of supplies. It is a healthy snack too. Grains are healthy so they don't carry despises.

That people are making spoons you can eat and would help the Earth. He was creative when he thought of a spoon you can eat. Yes, it you save the world and I am worried that they could run out of the stuff they need.

What "Sparks" my interest is that 1.5 million of theses spoons are sold so far. I noticed collaboration, communication, and confidence.I would want to be a customer for edible cutlery. What interest me about this item is there are so many flavors for the spoon.I would be kinda concerned about this item because some people might be like sick to one of the flavors.

I think it is awesome how a man can make spoons, forks, and knives that you can eat. I relived that the man used confidence in this video because his idea could fail in the video but he was brave enough to take chances. I would not be a customer. I think would be harm to young kids.

I really like it because people don't have to throw away spoons only using it 1 time. I would like to work there so I could have fun making editable spoons. I really hope one day they could make editable knives and forks. Its very sad that 40 million cutlery just gets thrown away. I think this product should cost at least 40-50 dollars.

As soon as I heard about it. I was just so amazed when I knew there was an edible spoon, but, I have one critical thought about this spoon. What if somebody was allergic to let's say...ginger mint, that would be my concern. But this did have creative innovation in it and I would totally be a customer. : )

What Sparks my interest is that you don't have to wash it when you are done you just eat it. I saw one of the six cs it was that he had confidence and critical thinking, I would be a costumer because as a chef you have to taste the flavor and he did, Also because it could get me out of my chores after dinner .
